As a group, the class supports many church efforts as well as specific needs of members. Studies have or will include The Jesus You Never Knew, by Phillip Yancey, the Book of Romans, What do our Neighbors Believe, by Howard Greenstein, Kendra Holz, and John Kaltner, a study of Joseph, the Sermon on the Mount, an ethics study, and the Book of Genesis. Seekers' Class

The Seekers' Class of about 50 members is made up of men and women who participate in the lesson discussions. The late NC Senator Helen Rhyne Marvin, a class member, suggested the class name. A class committee of rotating members works with Rev. Perryman to determine the curriculum, which varies from quarter to quarter. Recent studies have included the Book of Romans and Prayer, by Richard J. Foster. The committee secures a different teacher for each Sunday. Members support one local charity and one international charity. At least once a year there is a class dinner event. Members thrive on Christian fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
