Celeste Crowe
|
Born in Stockbridge, Georgia, Celeste Crowe graduated from LaGrange College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics with minors in Art History and Servant Leadership. Possessing a wide range of interests and skills within the art field, Celeste studied best museum practices by working with The Georgia Archives as a Conservation Technician, LaGrange Art Museum as a Gallery Assistant and Instructor, and Lamar Dodd Art Center as a Gallery Assistant. As a ceramicist, Celeste instructed pottery classes and practiced studio management at Wren’s Nest Pottery in Hogansville, Georgia. Celeste also has experience working as a graphic designer for Logo Mats, LLC.
A lifelong Presbyterian, Celeste served as an ordained Deacon for McDonough Presbyterian Church, as a youth advisor for First Presbyterian Church LaGrange, and was an active participant and leader for UKirk at LaGrange College. She has attended Presbyterian Youth Triennium, and visits Montreat whenever she has the chance. Currently, Celeste serves as the Director of Communications at First Presbyterian Church in Gastonia, North Carolina. In her free time, Celeste enjoys exploring God’s creation with her dog, Jude, running, kayaking, and landscape painting. |
