Sherry Moore

Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, Sherry Moore graduated from East Gaston High School and went directly into the workforce as an employee for Duke Power Company in the Human Resources Department, followed by Civil Engineering, Customer Service, Nuclear Training, and Business Management Training before leaving to pursue a career in the banking industry. Sherry worked in the E-Commerce Training department for First Union National Bank. Her most recent career before joining the staff at First Presbyterian Church was as a Business Office Manager in senior health care. She also served as Youth Director for First United Methodist Church in Stanley. Sherry is also the co-founder and director of Healing Hearts Ranch, a free horse camp for at risk children and youth. This is her greatest passion.
Sherry was raised in Stanley, North Carolina and still resides there today. She and her husband, Jeff, have four sons, the youngest of which just left for his training for the United States Army in July. They have two grandchildren, Charlie and Bandi, who spend much time with them. Sherry and Jeff are blessed to live on the horse farm where Jeff was raised, and have quite the assortment of animals. It is her favorite place on earth! |
