Holy Week Art Walk
Station 3: Mother
“On the road
Jesus see his mother
Mary
Her eyes wide
With fear and anguish
She is his mother and her heart is shattering
But she knows
This is his destiny
She wants to rush in and hold him
Tend to his wounds
She stand firm--a pillar of silence and love
She watches him as he turns his face toward Calgary”

Prayer Prompt
What relationships and events in your life have shaped you? Where was God in those relationships and moments?
Take a moment and consider your place in the family of God and the people who also are a part of this family. What are some ways that you can help others who might not feel as welcomed or loved as members of God’s family? Who has been entrusted to your care today? How will you respond to this call?
As Jesus offered compassion and care for Mary, you are invited to offer your prayers for those in need of care and healing.
