Volunteering at First Presbyterian is more than just lending a hand, it’s an opportunity to grow in faith, build lasting friendships, and make a meaningful impact in our community. Whether serving within the church or reaching out beyond our walls, volunteers experience the joy of living out their gifts, deepening their connection with God and others, and discovering the blessings of serving together.
Audio Visual Production
Are you interested in video or audio engineering? Do you have any tech skills you want to share with our congregation? Or would you like to learn a new skill? The Communications Ministry is looking for volunteers to join our Livestream team! Interested parties would be responsible for volunteering one Sunday (or more) a month to assist with running video cameras, adding slides to the production, or monitoring sound. Prior experience is not necessary, but a general technical knowledge helps! Training will be provided! If you are interested, please contact our Communications Team for more information!

Faith Formation Volunteers
Join the Shepherd list! A Shepherd is a second adult who is in the classroom to help support the teacher and ensure that we always have two adults in spaces where our children are learning or playing. This list is for people who can be called in when one of our teachers cannot be present, so it is on an as-needed basis, not every Sunday. Contact Mary Taneti for more information.

Nursery Support
Join the Nursery Support list! Sometimes one of our staff on our nursery team is unable to be present. When this happens we need folks who would be willing to help with our nursery coverage. If you join this list, this means that you are willing to be contacted to see if you might help in the event we need some back up nursery help. Contact Mary Taneti.

Help with our Wednesday Night Alive program!
Come and join the fun with our children on Wednesday Nights as we learn, grow, and play together. We are in need of people willing to be a second adult to make sure that we have two adults present with our children. Contact Mary Taneti.

Sign up to support our youth with Bibles and Biscuits!
If sharing food is your love language, sign up to bring food for our Youth on Sunday morning. By providing food, such as donuts or biscuits, you will bring some good joy to our youth! Contact Mary Taneti.

Sign up to help feed our youth at Youth Fellowship!
We need your help in providing Sunday Night meals for our youth! First Youth Fellowship starts at 5 p.m. for both middle and high school youth, and dinner is served from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know our youth and see what they're up to! Contact Mary Taneti.
